30,000 Pregnancies Under 14 Years Old Annually

Coddington reports on research undertaken by Dr. Bruce Ellis, senior lecturer in psychology at Canterbury University.
Dr. Ellis has found that girls whose fathers are closely
involved with their lives and have a positive relationship with the girl’s mother, enter
puberty later. He has also found that “father involvement was most predictive for late
puberty in girls if it took place before age 5.”
In
other words, without Dad, little girls
grow up too quickly. Ellis’ research could explain why some girls in Western countries
are going through puberty much earlier - instead of blaming hormones in chickens and
beef, perhaps it’s plain old parenting.
Ellis’ research also offers an additional explanation
as to why girls who grow up in
sole mother households have a high teenage preg-nancy rate. If Dad is around to tell
them how beautiful they are, how smart and clever, they’ll delay their first sexual experience
longer than girls who grow up without that positive reinforcement.”

Positive reinforcement from a father figure means they will not fall prey to lies from boys
eager to gret sex.
Try to preserve a good relationship with a loving
natural father, even
through divorce.
Get her away from jerk fathers, and search for a good father figure.
Be
extremely
careful here. Rape and molestation are results of not enough caution.
One can be a great parent if they keep the right set of priorities in sight.
Love
and
good behavior go together with common sense!
Be an excellent role model, and avoid hypocrisy. It is something they will emulate
if they accept it as “family.”

It tells about painless virgin sex and the proper method of birth control. AIDS
still kills, it’s just not headline news anymore. Girls with the proper knowledge about sex,
delay for a longer period than others.
Once she’s ourtside the house, she can become safer and stronger in the world or
not. If your guidance is prompted by fear rather than knowledge, it may not help her at
all. Teachings should prepare her for adulthood, not trap her as a child.
Wisdom is strength. Think about this....
